Cranberry

Did you know?
Harvesting cranberries, which is done in autumn, involves an unusual process! The farmers flood the fields with water to a depth of 45 cm, causing the berries, once removed from the vines, to float naturally to the surface, thanks to the air pockets they contain.
The cranberry is a small red fruit native to North America. At Vitabio, we source them from our distant cousins in Quebec!
The cranberry, both sweet and tangy, is particularly delicious and is known for its nutritional benefits: it is a source of vitamin C with antioxidant properties.
